A tractor is the heart of your farm, much more than just a “workhorse on wheels.” The right implements save your valuable time, boost efficiency, and significantly increase both productivity and profitability. OXPLO offers a wide range of options designed to help you work smarter and more cost-effectively.

LUYU 25HP Tractors Forced-Lift Hydraulic System :

Function: Significantly enhances implement penetration into hard soil, boosting plowing efficiency.

Identification: Features two vertical hydraulic cylinders at the rear. Key advantage lies in bidirectional forced-lift capability.

Advantage: Bidirectional systems (identified by two hoses per valve) actively push implements down into hard soil. There are also lift-only systems (one hose per valve), relying solely on implement weight for penetration the soil.

PTO Engagement: Controlled via a dedicated lever (right side of the seat, similar to a parking brake).

Advantage: Reduces clutch wear, improves fuel efficiency, and allows independent operation of tractor movement and PTO-driven implements.

PTO (Power Take-Off) System :

Function: Transmits engine power to implements via a rotating shaft.

Top 3 Tractor Attachments for Farming You Should Get First

The exact implements you need depend on the real-world farm work, but for everyday tasks, here are five essential tools every farmer should keep in the shed.

Disc Plough

The disc plough uses multiple concave discs to turn over deep soil, enhancing aeration and water retention. Its design combines strong penetration with efficient soil inversion for dependable results in diverse conditions.

Applications:

l Initial reclamation of virgin or fallow land

l Deep tillage after harvesting staple crops such as corn, wheat, and rice

l Subsoiling in heavy clay or compacted soils

l Incorporation of crop residue in fields with straw return

Benefits: Loosened subsoil allows crop roots to penetrate deeper and access more nutrients and moisture. Buried straw and weeds decompose naturally into organic fertilizer while reducing weed and disease pressure for the following season.

Disc Harrow

The disc harrow uses one or more gangs of flat-set discs to break up large clods left after ploughing and level the soil surface. OXPLO disc harrow features a precise disc arrangement that delivers excellent clod pulverization with moderate draft resistance, leaving the soil in ideal condition for seeding.

Applications:

l Secondary clod breakdown and leveling after disc plough

l Pre-seeding shallow tillage in lighter, looser soils

l Pasture renovation and soil aeration

l Inter-row weed control in orchards and vineyards

Benefits: Leaves a smooth, well-pulverized surface and a refined seedbed for uniform seeding depth and even crop emergence, making subsequent field management easier.

Slasher vs. Mower: Understanding the Difference

The right mowing equipment helps you clear heavy vegetation quickly and improves planting efficiency. OXPLO offers two types of mowing machines designed for different applications. Choose the one that best fits your operation.

a. Slasher

The slasher is designed for cutting thick-stemmed weeds, brush, and tall, coarse vegetation. Its heavy-duty blade structure offers excellent impact resistance, making it suitable for rugged, demanding conditions.

Applications:

l Clearing overgrown pastures and rough grassland

l Pre-clearing brush and scrub before land reclamation

l Removing tall weeds along field edges and boundaries

l Vegetation management around hunting grounds

Benefits: Clears large areas of rough vegetation quickly, preparing the ground for land development or pasture renewal. Furthermore, the shredded residue left on the surface also helps suppress weed regrowth.

b. Mower

The mower is designed for trimming grass, tender weeds, and low-growing vegetation. It delivers a fine, precise cut and leaves behind a clean, even surface.

Applications:

l Lawn maintenance under orchard trees

l Grass upkeep around farmyards and residential areas

l Vegetation control on roadside embankments and slopes

l Precision mowing of small pastures

Benefits: Produces a neat, well-groomed appearance that promotes healthy turf growth. At the same time, the fine cutting action is gentle on tree roots, making it perfect for areas requiring regular, long-term maintenance.

Advice

If your operation frequently involves clearing overgrown fields or brush-heavy terrain, the slasher is the recommended choice. For regular maintenance of orchards or landscaped grounds where a clean, tidy finish is essential, the mower is the better fit.
